Yes. Everyday capture, review, and search work on your Mac without an internet connection.

Your audio, screenshots, notes, and transcripts stay on your Mac. Audio is discarded after transcription, and you can delete saved items whenever you want.

Only for license checks, updates, optional downloads you request, Apple speech assets if you choose that engine, support pages you choose to open, and a support message you send from Settings. The waitlist and contact forms on this site send only what you submit. Cuedora does not send your captures to our servers and has no analytics or ad tracking.

Reminders and calendar events need your review and confirmation. Dictation works differently: it inserts transcribed text at your cursor when you release the shortcut, without a review step.

Microphone for voice, Input Monitoring for global shortcuts, Accessibility for focus detection and inserting text at your cursor, Screen Recording for screenshots, and Calendar or Reminders access only if you send something there. Cuedora asks only when you first use a feature, and you can turn any of them off in System Settings.

Yes. The voice and screenshot shortcuts can be changed in Cuedora Settings.

Recent screenshots can wait on the Screenshot Shelf for seven days so you can drag, pin, or save them. You can change the retention window or clear the shelf at any time. Copy Image puts the picture on the clipboard and does not create a file. Copy File for Terminal writes a unique PNG under Downloads/CuedoraClipboard/ and keeps it for 24 hours while Cuedora is running.
